Welcome to the Southview Baptist Church Children’s Department. Children are a very special part of our family……and we are so glad you decided to visit us. We will be praying as God continues to work in your life and the life of your child.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
We offer a lot of fun activities for children in Grades 1-5.
- Sunday – 9:15 AM – Sunday School
- Sunday – 5:15 PM - TeamKID for children ages 3 yrs. – 5th Grade – TeamKID is a discipleship club for children aimed at helping them learn biblical truths and how to apply them to their lives. Recreation based, TeamKID is fun for children and adults. But more than that, TeamKID helps lay a firm foundation for children’s future discipleship through age-appropriate activities in Bible storytelling, art, music, and movement.
Let Your Children Come:
- To build friendships within our church family.
- To enjoy the personal concern of teachers who care.
- To learn the good news of God’s love as shown through Jesus Christ.
- To “grow in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and people.” (see Luke 2:52)
Let Your Children Grow:
G – Go to church and Sunday School.
R – Read God’s Word and pray.
O – Obey God throughout the week.
W - Watch for ways to tell others about Jesus.
